Overview

The Porsche Cayenne Turbo Coupe Electric occupies the absolute pinnacle of performance in the luxury electric SUV market. Built on the advanced 800V Premium Platform Electric architecture, this flagship model fuses hypercar-rivalling acceleration with long-distance cruising capability and everyday SUV usability. It serves as a statement piece in Porsche's electrified lineup, sitting above the other Cayenne Coupe Electric variants to deliver unmatched driving dynamics.

Design

Featuring a sweeping, 911-inspired roofline, the Coupe model trades a small amount of rear headroom for a significantly sleeker and more athletic profile compared to its standard SUV sibling. The front fascia carries Porsche's signature four-point LED headlights set within sharply contoured front wings. Specific to the flagship Turbo model are motorized active Aeroblades integrated into the rear which automatically deploy at speed to optimize airflow and increase high-speed downforce. Visual distinction comes in the form of model-specific side skirts, aggressive air intakes, Turbonite exterior accents, and lightweight aerodynamically optimized alloy wheels hiding massive high-performance brake setups.

Interior

Inside, the cabin blends high-end luxury with technical sophistication. The cockpit is centered around the Porsche Driver Experience, featuring a curved digital instrument cluster, a central touchscreen panel, and an optional dedicated front passenger display. Standard 18-way adaptive sport seats provide firm lateral support, while the standard panoramic glass roof elevates interior light. Available luxury features include surface panel heating across the doors and armrests, ambient mood modes, and multi-zone climate settings. Materials and fit and finish are exceptional throughout, reflecting Porsche's uncompromising standards.

Performance & Powertrains

The dual-motor powertrain in the Cayenne Turbo Coupe Electric uses permanent magnet synchronous motors on both axles. With Launch Control and Push-to-Pass engaged, the system develops an astonishing 1,140 bhp and 1,500 Nm of torque. Acceleration from 0-62 mph is completed in a relentless 2.5 seconds, reaching a top speed of 162 mph. Power is drawn from a 113 kWh battery, yielding a range of up to 395 miles. Thanks to the 800V charging system, maximum DC rapid charging rates reach up to 390kW, making it possible to replenish the battery from 10 to 80 percent in as little as 16 minutes. Handling is managed via active adaptive air suspension as standard, with the option to equip the advanced Porsche Active Ride system, rear-axle steering, and torque vectoring to maintain composure under extreme cornering loads.

Practicality

Despite its aggressive roof slope, clever interior packaging ensures ample headroom for four adults or an optional 2+1 seating arrangement. Boot capacity stands at 534 litres with the rear seats upright, expanding to 1,347 litres when the rear backrests are folded down. Up front, a 87-litre frunk provides designated storage for charging cables and small items.
