Overview
The Porsche Cayenne Coupe Electric is the sleek, fastback counterpart to the traditional Cayenne Electric SUV, fusing high-riding performance with 911-inspired styling. Built on the advanced Premium Platform Electric co-developed with Audi, it serves as Porsche's flagship electric performance crossover. It sits above the Macan Electric in the brand's EV portfolio, aimed directly at premium performance electric models like the Audi Q6 Sportback e-tron and the BMW iX5.
Design
The Cayenne Coupe Electric is defined by its iconic 911-derived flyline, featuring a gently sloping roofline that drops 24mm lower than the standard SUV. It incorporates a model-specific windshield, pronounced rear haunches, and flush glass surfaces that create a muscular silhouette. Aerodynamics play a central role, with active air intake flaps, a deployable rear spoiler, and active aero curtains behind the rear wheels yielding a slick drag coefficient of 0.23. Matrix LED headlights come as standard, while top-spec models gain high-definition HD-Matrix LED units alongside distinct Turbonite exterior accents.
Interior
Inside, the cabin introduces a curved OLED driver display integrated into a minimalist, leather-wrapped dashboard. A central infotainment touchscreen governs most vehicle settings, with an optional display for the front passenger and an AR head-up display. Build quality is exceptional, featuring tactile switchgear, high-grade sustained materials, and standard Sport seats. Lower seating positions compared to the standard Cayenne SUV give the interior a distinctly focused, sports-car feel despite the elevated ride height.

Performance & Powertrains
All variants utilize a 113 kWh NMC battery operating on an 800V architecture. The entry-level dual-motor powertrain develops 435 hp under launch control, achieving 0-62 mph in 4.8 seconds and a top speed of 143 mph. It delivers a range of up to 410 miles. The mid-tier Cayenne S Coupe Electric bumps output to 657 hp, reducing the 0-62 mph sprint to 3.6 seconds, reaching a 155 mph top speed, and providing the maximum range of 415 miles. Thanks to an ultra-fast peak DC charging capacity of 390 kW, a 10% to 80% recharge takes under 16 minutes at a compatible charger. Dual-chamber active air suspension comes standard across the line, with optional rear-axle steering and Porsche Active Ride hydraulic suspension providing benchmark body control and dynamic sharpness.
Practicality
While the sweeping roofline trims rear headroom slightly compared to the standard SUV, the cabin still comfortably accommodates adults in the outer rear seats. Boot space measures 454 litres with the rear seats raised, expanding to 1,347 litres when the rear seatbacks are folded flat. An additional 90-litre frunk provides dedicated storage for charging cables and smaller bags.
Buying
Prices for the Cayenne Coupe Electric begin at £86,200 for the base model, rising to £103,100 for the Cayenne S Coupe Electric. Standard equipment includes adaptive air suspension, the Sport Chrono Package, panoramic glass roof, soft-close doors, and Matrix LED headlights. The EV Hub recommended configuration is the mid-range Cayenne S Coupe Electric. It offers the ideal sweet spot in the lineup as it delivers sub-4-second acceleration, unlocks the highest overall range at 415 miles, and allows you to option rear-axle steering and Porsche Active Ride.
