Embracing a blocky silhouette that draws clear comparisons to premium rugged off-roaders, the E5 features a distinctively imposing road presence. While it shares its core bodywork with its petrol-powered sibling, the J5, the electric variant differentiates itself with a smoothed-over, flush front that minimises drag. High-set, rectangular LED headlights flank this clean fascia, while the sides are relatively clean and featureless, designed to elongate the vehicle's profile. The overall styling leans into a retro-modern look that prioritises an upright, commanding stance over soft, sweeping curves.
Interior
The cabin delivers an immediate digital impact, centred around a crisp 13.2-inch portrait infotainment touchscreen and an accompanying 8.8-inch digital driver's display. Material quality feels surprisingly upscale for the price point, using textured soft-touch plastics, synthetic leather upholstery, and faux-suede trim across the dashboard storage areas. However, some lower-tier plastics feel thin and hollow.
