Overview
The Leapmotor B10 is a fully electric compact C-segment crossover developed through a joint venture between Chinese EV maker Leapmotor and automotive giant Stellantis. Built on the brand's LEAP 3.5 architecture, it targets popular European family models like the Kia EV3, Skoda Elroq, and Hyundai Kona Electric. By leveraging Stellantis' dealer network for sales and servicing, the B10 aims to combine mainstream accessibility with highly aggressive, budget-defying pricing.
Design
The exterior follows Leapmotor's Gravity Field design language, resulting in a smooth, aerodynamic shape with clean panel surfacing. The front features a split-headlight setup paired with 3-strip, short LED daytime running light bars. Side profiles showcase flush pop-out door handles, protective dark lower body cladding, and 18-inch alloy wheels fitted as standard. At the rear, a full-width LED light bar spans the tailgate beneath a subtle roof spoiler.
Interior
The cabin prioritises a minimalist aesthetic dominated by a 14.6-inch 2.5K central touchscreen powered by a Snapdragon 8155 processor. Behind the steering wheel sits an 8.8-inch digital instrument display that adjusts alongside the steering column. Physical controls are almost entirely absent, with functions integrated into the central screen. Interior materials feature synthetic leather upholstery, customisable 64-colour ambient lighting, and a fixed 1.83-square-metre panoramic glass roof with an electric sunshade.
Performance & Powertrains
Power comes from a single rear-mounted electric motor delivering 160 kW of power and 240 Nm of torque. Acceleration from 0-62 mph is completed in 8.0 seconds, with a top speed of 106 mph. Energy is supplied by a 67kWh LFP battery, yielding a range of 270 miles. Operating on a 400V architecture, the B10 accepts DC rapid charging up to 150 kW, enabling a 10% to 80% recharge in 26 minutes. Suspension tuning was refined at the Balocco Proving Ground in Italy to deliver a soft, comfort-focused ride.
Practicality
Rear boot space offers 420 litres of capacity with the seats upright, complemented by an additional 95-litre compartment located beneath the boot floor. Folding the 60/40 split-folding rear bench expands total load volume to 1,415 litres. Cabin storage includes dual smartphone holders on the centre console with a 15W wireless charging pad, a central storage bin, and deep door pockets.
Buying
The Leapmotor B10 starts at £29,995. Rather than complex option lists, it is sold in a single, high-specification trim level that includes heated and ventilated electrically adjustable front seats, a heated steering wheel, a heat pump, a 360-degree camera system, a 12-speaker audio system, and a power-operated tailgate as standard equipment. The EV Hub Recommended Configuration has to the single fully-loaded trim level equipped with the standard 67kWh battery.
