Design
The exterior relies on an ultra-hard stainless steel exoskeleton, eliminating the need for traditional body panels or paint. Its angular design reduces manufacturing complexities by flat-folding the steel, giving the car a distinctive silhouette dominated by a single roof apex and front and rear LED light bars. The glass has shatter-resistant acoustic armor capable of withstanding high impacts. Aerodynamics are enhanced by a motorized tonneau cover that seals flush with the bed, allowing the full-size truck to achieve a drag coefficient comparable to a modern luxury SUV.
Interior
Inside, the cabin follows Tesla's minimalist layout with a flat-top steering yoke and zero physical buttons. Primary functions, gear selection, and infotainment are controlled through a massive 18.5-inch central touchscreen, complemented by a 9.4-inch display in the rear for back-seat passengers. Build quality utilizes durable composite materials designed for easy cleaning. The cabin accommodates five adults comfortably and features an expansive panoramic glass roof, a custom 15-speaker audio system with dual subwoofers, and hospital-grade HEPA filtration in Bioweapon Defence Mode.
Performance & Powertrains
The Cybertruck is available in Dual Motor AWD and Tri-Motor Cyberbeast configurations, both powered by a 123 kWh battery pack. The Dual Motor model produces 600 bhp, enabling a 0-60 mph time of 4.1 seconds and a range of up to 340 miles. The flagship Cyberbeast develops 845 bhp, sprinting from 0-60 mph in 2.6 seconds with a range of 320 miles. Both variants feature 800V charging architecture supporting peak DC rates of 325 kW, adding up to 137 miles of range in 15 minutes on compatible Tesla V4 Superchargers. Driving dynamics are managed by adaptive air suspension providing up to 432 mm of ground clearance, paired with steer-by-wire and rear-wheel steering for enhanced agility.
Practicality
Utility is centered around a composite bed measuring 6ft by 4ft, offering 1,897 liters of lockable storage under the motorized tonneau cover. The payload capacity stands at 1,134 kg, with a maximum braked towing capacity of 4,990 kg. Additional storage includes a frunk, under-bed gear locker, and rear seats that fold up to expose an additional 1,530 liters of interior space. The bed incorporates 120V and 240V power outlets, allowing power tools or home appliances to run directly off the main vehicle battery via bidirectional charging.
Buying
While official UK pricing has not been finalized by Tesla, US pricing translates to an entry point of roughly £51,000 ($69,990) for the Dual Motor AWD model, rising to around £73,000 ($99,990) for the Cyberbeast. The EV Hub recommended configuration is the Dual Motor AWD version. This model provides the ideal balance of usable range, charging efficiency, and towing performance without the cost premium of the Cyberbeast variant.
