The front is defined by a black panel grille featuring an intricate Mercedes-Benz star pattern, flanked by sophisticated Digital Lights joined by a continuous light strip. Smooth body surfacing, flush-fitting pop-out door handles, and aerodynamic alloy wheels up to 21 inches help reduce drag. Every variant of the EQS SUV uses a large 118 kWh battery paired with dual-motor 4MATIC AWD and a 22 kW AC onboard charger. The EQS 450 4MATIC produces 355 bhp and 800 Nm of torque, accelerating from 0 to 62 mph in 6.1 seconds and offering a range of up to 400 miles. The more powerful EQS 580 4MATIC develops 536 bhp and 858 Nm of torque, cutting the 0-62 mph sprint to 4.7 seconds while matching the 400-mile range. Ultra-rapid DC charging is capped at 200 kW, enabling a 10 to 80% battery top-up in 31 minutes. Ride quality is controlled via standard Airmatic air suspension with adaptive damping and standard 10-degree rear-axle steering to enhance low-speed maneuverability.
Practicality
Versatility is a core highlight of the EQS SUV, which comes as standard with 3 rows of seating to accommodate up to 7 passengers.
