Design & Interior
The exterior of the Polestar Concept BST abandons the subtle minimalist aesthetic of standard models in favour of uncompromising aerodynamic functionality. The body features significantly widened front and rear tracks tucked under flared wheel arches, giving the roadster a planted and muscular stance. At the front, a low-slung, extended front splitter channels airflow around the bumper, while a deeply vented bonnet manages the front axle lift. The side profile is highlighted by sculpted side sills that feed into an aggressive rear diffuser, topped by a large swan-neck rear wing mounted across the rear.
Inside, the cabin builds upon the driver-focused, tech-forward interior architecture of the Polestar 6 roadster. Clean geometric lines and sustainable, high-end materials dominate the space, enhanced by motorsport-inspired touches. High-bolstered sports seats provide lateral support during high-speed cornering, accented by Swedish Gold seatbelts. A portrait-oriented central touchscreen handles the core vehicle telemetry and infotainment, complemented by a minimalist digital driver display mounted directly on the steering column.
Other Technical Specifications
Built on Polestar's bespoke 800V bonded aluminium platform, the dual-motor drivetrain generates 884 hp and is capable of launching the vehicle from 0-62 mph in just 3.2 seconds. The 800V architecture supports ultra-rapid DC charging speeds of up to 350 kW, enabling a 10% to 80% charge in under 20 minutes. While exact battery capacity figures for the BST concept remain unspecified, it uses the 110 kWh battery planned for the Polestar 6 platform, targeting a range of up to 370 miles on a single charge. Polestar executives have strongly hinted that the BST mark will continue to serve as a permanent performance tier across their lineup, similar to how limited-run BST editions were offered on the Polestar 2. A ultra-limited production run of a BST variant of the Polestar 6 is expected to follow after the standard roadster's launch.
