Overview

The Citroën ë-Dispatch Enterprise establishes itself as a highly competitive contender in the medium-sized electric commercial vehicle segment. Sharing a platform with its Stellantis siblings, the van bridges the gap between traditional diesel utility and zero-emission driving. It serves as a versatile workhorse for urban delivery, independent tradespeople, and small businesses aiming to lower operating costs. By matching the cargo volumes of its internal combustion counterparts while providing a refined driving experience, it undercuts several key rivals in the market on price without sacrificing core commercial capability.

Design

Adopting a clean, modern aesthetic following recent updates, the exterior is defined by a bold front featuring the redesigned Citroën chevron logo. Integrated Eco LED headlights give the van a stylish road presence. The Enterprise specification pairs this with practical black side strips and body-coloured or durable black plastic bumpers engineered to resist minor scuffs. Riding on 17-inch steel wheels fitted with Pentagon wheel covers, the overall design prioritizes utility while maintaining a professional appearance. The overall height is kept to just over 1.9 metres across standard configurations, ensuring effortless access to height-restricted multistorey car parks and urban loading bays.

Interior

The cabin goes away from a traditional commercial vehicle design by using passenger car ergonomics from Stellantis cars. However, hard-wearing, durable plastics dominate the dashboard with build quality still feeling robust. Drivers are greeted by a digital 10-inch instrument cluster. In the the centre console is a 10-inch colour touchscreen infotainment featuring wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto. Ergonomics are helped by an adjustable driver's seat with lumbar support and an armrest, while a dual passenger bench seat accommodates two extra occupants. Convenient additions like a designated smartphone storage shelf positioned next to a USB port ensure the cabin operates effectively as a mobile workspace.

Performance & Powertrains

Power is delivered by a front-mounted electric motor producing 136hp, alongside an instantly available 260Nm of torque. For the Enterprise trim, the powertrain is available with a 75kWh battery, which outputs up to 215 miles of range. Driving feel benefits from the low placement of the battery, which lowers the centre of gravity and minimizes body roll through corners. When charging, the ë-Dispatch supports 100kW DC, enabling a 5% to 80% charge in approximately 45 minutes. Standard AC charging via a 7.4kW single-phase onboard charger requires roughly 11 hours and 20 minutes for a full charge overnight.

Practicality

The ë-Dispatch is available in two body lengths; M and XL. This panel van offers highly flexible cargo configurations. The M version delivers a load length of 2,512mm and a total cargo volume of 5.3 cubic metres, whereas the XL variant expands the load length to 2,862mm and increases volume to 6.1 cubic metres. This can be further increased with the Moduwork load-through bulkhead, extending total loading lengths up to 4,024mm and increasing total volume up to 6.6 cubic metres in the XL model. Dual sliding side doors and twin rear doors opening to a low 544mm loading height ensure unhindered access. Heavy hauling remains viable with a robust payload capacity maxing out at 1,500kg.

Buying

The Citroën ë-Dispatch Enterprise represents a fairly strong value proposition within the medium electric van market. Prices for the 75kWh Enterprise Panel Van start at £41,210 for the M model and rise to £42,010 for the longer XL body style. Standard equipment on the Enterprise trim includes air conditioning, rear parking sensors, automatic headlights, cruise control, and an array of safety assistance features like lane-keeping assist and advanced emergency braking. The EV Hub Recommended Configuration is the XL 75kWh Enterprise variant as the optimal choice. The XL body style maximizes payload and unlocks up to 6.6 cubic metres of potential cargo volume for a minimal price increase over the standard length.
