Design
Visually striking from every angle, the ID. Buzz pairs nostalgia with aerodynamic functionality. Its cab-forward shape, stubby bonnet, and massive Volkswagen badge take direct inspiration from its 1950s predecessor, while clean body lines and slim matrix LED headlights ensure a futuristic look. The signature two-tone paint finishes divide the upper and lower sections along the shoulder line, emphasizing its unique proportions. Airflow is optimized through active lower intake flaps and flush-fitting body panels, contributing to an impressive drag coefficient of 0.28. Around the back, a continuous LED light bar stretches across the tailgate, framed by distinctive D-pillar air slats that pay homage to air-cooled models of the past. The flagship GTX trim adds aggressive lower bumper styling, high-gloss black detailing, and unique 21-inch alloy wheels for a sportier stance.
Interior
The cabin delivers a bright, minimalist environment dominated by sustainable materials, excellent forward visibility, and clever ergonomics. Physical controls are minimal in favor of a elevated 12.9-inch central touch display running Volkswagen's latest software. Digital instrumentation is provided via a crisp 5.3-inch driver display mounted directly to the steering column. Material quality relies heavily on animal-free textures, including Seaqual yarn seats made from recycled ocean plastics, paired with vibrant dashboard trims that match the paint colour. The floating center console can be unclipped and removed entirely. Premium additions include an optional electrochromic panoramic glass roof that can shift from opaque to clear.

SWB models are configured with 5 or 6 seats, offering a massive 1,121-litre boot capacity behind the rear seats, expanding to 2,123 litres with the 60/40 split bench folded flat. The LWB variant stretches overall length by 250 mm, allowing for genuine 7-seater capability in a 2-3-2 layout or a 2-2-2, 6-seat arrangement. With all 7 seats in place, cargo volume stands at a usable 306 litres, swelling to 1,340 litres in 5-seat mode and topping out at 2,469 litres in total load capacity.
