Design
The exterior design language of the IM6 relies on fluid, organic surfacing called Gentle Sculpture styling. Rather than sharp edges, the SUV uses sweeping, aerodynamic curves to create a sleek profile that minimizes drag. Up front, distinctive LED light signatures give it a focused look, while the sloping roofline blends into a high-set rear deck fitted with an edge-to-edge lightbar. Flush door handles, full-length panoramic glass roofing, and optional large-diameter alloy wheels up to 21 inches further reinforce its sleek aesthetic.
Interior
Inside, the cabin takes a distinctly minimalist, lounge-inspired approach. The visual highlight is a sweeping 26.3-inch ultra-widescreen panel across the dashboard for driving info and infotainment, complemented by a lower 10.5-inch control screen on the centre console. Powered by a Snapdragon 8295 processor, the system responds quickly and features wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, alongside standard features like a ventilated wireless phone charger. Material quality is strong throughout, featuring soft-touch leather-style upholstery with heated and ventilated front seating. However, having almost all controls into the dual-screen setup requires multiple menus for simple everyday adjustments.

The IM6 lineup offers both single-motor RWD and dual-motor AWD configurations. The RWD Long Range option generates 407 hp, executing 0–62 mph in 5.4 seconds. The flagship dual-motor IM6 Performance model produces a staggering 751 hp, dropping the 0–62 mph sprint to just 3.5 seconds. Utilizing a 100 kWh battery pack operating on an advanced 800V silicon carbide architecture, the RWD version delivers an official range of 388 miles, while AWD variants achieve up to 313 miles on a single charge. Maximum DC rapid charging speeds peak at an impressive 396 kW, enabling a 10% to 80% recharge in roughly 17 minutes. On the road, standard four-wheel steering reduces the turning circle to just 10.18m, vastly improving low-speed agility.
Practicality
Measuring 4,904 mm in length with a generous 2,950 mm wheelbase, the IM6 provides extensive legroom for both front and rear passengers. Boot space is generous, providing between 646 and 665 litres of cargo capacity with the rear seats in place, which expands up to 1,640 litres when folded. This is complemented by a small 32-litre frunk intended for charging cable storage. Cabin storage is a slight mix, while there is a massive open tray beneath the floating centre console, overall glovebox and door pocket space is average.

Pricing starts at £48,495 for the entry Long Range model, and rising to £50,995 for the Performance. Given the standard equipment, including 800V architecture, ultra-fast charging, four-wheel steering, and heated/cooled seats, the range provides a solid value proposition against rival European and American options. The EV Hub recommended configuration is the RWD Long Range as the standout choice. It offers the maximum range of 388 miles while retaining identical 396 kW rapid charging capability and strong performance, making it the most sensible day-to-day option.
