The Peugeot E-Rifter is a highly practical, van-derived electric MPV tailored for families and active lifestyle buyers who prioritize space and function over a traditional SUV. Design
Featuring Peugeot's updated design language, the exterior is defined by a bold front end equipped with the brand's updated shield logo and signature three-claw LED lighting. Robust wheel arch cladding, integrated roof rails, elevated ground clearance, and skid plate detailing lead to an adventurous, rugged feel. Dual sliding side doors maximize ease of entry, while the tall, boxy rear profile maximizes vertical load space.
Interior
Inside, the cabin uses Peugeot's i-Cockpit layout, incorporating a small steering wheel and a high-mounted driver display. Central infotainment is handled by a 10-inch touchscreen equipped with wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto integration. While durable, hard-wearing plastics dominate the surfaces to withstand heavy use, the GT trim adds upgraded fabrics and a leather-wrapped steering wheel. Overhead storage, including the Zenith panoramic glass roof with its translucent central arch and roof box, significantly improves cabin storage and light.
Performance & Powertrains
Power is supplied by a single front-mounted electric motor producing 136 hp and 260 Nm of torque. Energy is stored in a 52kWh battery pack, providing a range of up to 220 miles. Rapid DC charging at up to 100 kW enables a 10-80% top-up in approximately 26 minutes. Standard AC charging is handled via a 7.4 kW onboard charger, with an 11 kW tri-phase charger available as an option.
Practicality
Practicality remains the E-Rifter's strongest attribute, offering 3 individual, ISOFIX-equipped sliding seats across the second row. Standard 5-seat models boast 775 litres of boot capacity up to the parcel shelf, expanding to up to 4,000 litres with the seats folded flat in the Long variant. The interior contains up to 186 litres of storage scattered across various cubbies, under-floor spaces, and an expansive overhead shelf. A split-opening rear tailgate window enables quick access to the boot in tight parking spaces.

Pricing for the Peugeot E-Rifter starts at £30,850 for the entry-level Allure trim, rising to around £34,695 for the range-topping GT version. Trim levels comprise Allure and GT, with the former delivering essential standard safety technology and touchscreen functionality, while GT adds 17-inch alloy wheels, sports exterior styling cues, GT trim highlights, and advanced driver assistance features. The EV Hub recommended configuration is the Allure trim in standard body length paired with the optional 11 kW onboard AC charger as it offers the strongest value proposition, delivering maximum day-to-day usability.
