Design

The exterior design of the Nevera blends dramatic hypercar proportions with highly advanced aerodynamics. Its low-slung, wide stance is defined by a sleek carbon fibre monocoque with an integrated carbon roof. Distinctive butterfly doors swing upwards and forwards. Every vent, intake, and curve is designed to serve a dual purpose: cooling the immensely powerful electrical systems and managing airflow. The active aero system includes a front bonnet flap, a rear diffuser, and a prominent rear wing that automatically adjusts to optimise downforce on high-speed corners or act as an airbrake under heavy braking.

Interior

Inside the cabin, the Nevera contrasts its brutal performance with a luxurious, tech-focused, and highly customisable grand-tourer environment. The cockpit features a clean, minimalist layout dominated by three high-definition screens: a digital driver display, a central infotainment touchscreen, and a dedicated passenger display showing real-time performance metrics. Rimac uses physical, tactile aluminium rotary dials that allow the driver to adjust driving modes, power distribution, and torque vectoring settings on the fly without digging through menus. The seating position is low and aggressive, though taller occupants may find headroom slightly restricted. High-quality materials like alcantara, premium leather, and exposed glossy carbon fibre line every surface, creating a bespoke, high-end atmosphere that reflects its status.

Performance & Powertrains

The heart of the Nevera is an engineering marvel, delivering a staggering 1,813 horsepower and 1,741 lb-ft of torque through a quad-motor setup. Each wheel is driven by its own independent permanent-magnet synchronous motor, allowing for ultra-precise torque vectoring that calculates adjustments 100 times per second. This enables the Nevera to rocket from 0-60 mph in a brain-melting 1.85 seconds, hit 186 mph in just 9.3 seconds, and reach a record-breaking top speed of 258 mph. Energising this setup is an in-house developed 120 kWh battery pack arranged in a rigid H-shape structure that sits low in the chassis to improve weight distribution. The car delivers a highly respectable range of 340 miles. When it comes to charging, the Nevera utilizes an 800-volt architecture capable of ultra-rapid DC charging at speeds up to 500 kW, allowing a 0-80% charge in just 19 minutes.

Practicality

While everyday usability isn't what this vehicle was designed for, the Nevera offers surprising space compared to traditional mid-engined hypercars. Its practical cabin storage is minimal, limited to small door pockets and minor console cubbies. Rear visibility is heavily compromised by the low roofline and aerodynamic bodywork, though a comprehensive array of cameras and a digital rear-view mirror mitigate this issue. Luggage space is located at the rear of the vehicle, offering a compact 150 litres of boot volume. Seating flexibility is non-existent as a strict 2-seater, but the adaptive double-wishbone suspension features a hydraulic lift system that raises the nose to safely clear speed bumps and steep driveways in urban environments.

Buying

Securing a Rimac Nevera requires an extraordinarily deep pocket, with the standard model having a base price of approximately £1.72 million. Because each vehicle is built entirely to the buyer's precise specification, traditional trim levels do not exist. And, there will only ever be 150 vehicles ever produced.
