The Genesis GV90 arrives as the Korean luxury brand's all-electric flagship SUV. Built upon Hyundai Motor Group's dedicated eMP architecture, the full-size crossover sits above the GV80 in the lineup, positioning itself as a direct competitor to executive luxury EVs like the Mercedes-Maybach EQS SUV and Range Rover Electric. Integrating design elements pioneered by the Neolun concept, the GV90 combines presence, cutting-edge software, and ultra-high-end comfort to establish a distinct space in the EV market.
Design
The exterior is defined by flush surfaces, clean proportions, and lighting signatures. At the front, two-bar Micro-Lens Array headlamps wrap around the sides to form the brand's wing-face motif without a conventional grille cutout. The body uses a smooth clamshell bonnet and minimal character lines to mimic traditional Korean moon jars. In standard trim, the GV90 uses conventional doors, while the flagship Neolun tier adds B-pillarless coach doors with reinforced internal high-strength steel beams and a concealed roll cage. Standout exterior features include flush pop-out door handles, up to 24-inch forged alloy wheels, and a full-width dual LED light strip across the tailgate.
Interior
The cabin focuses on executive lounge comfort with high-grade natural materials including Nappa leather, wool cashmere, real wood, and stone trims. Up front, a 23.6-inch OLED screen sits flush along the dash, raising by 90 mm to present a 24.6-inch Cinematic Display when the vehicle is stationary. Driver information is projected via a 25-inch head-up display. The center console houses a motorized column-mounted rotary shifter. Top-tier specifications offer front seats capable of rotating 180 degrees to face the second row, alongside a 25-speaker Bang & Olufsen 3D sound system equipped with active noise cancellation to block out outside noise.
Performance & Powertrains
Power is supplied by a dual-motor, AWD setup producing a combined 657 bhp and 800 Nm of torque. Energy comes from a 123kWh battery pack delivering a slightly disappointing range of up to 311 miles. The 800V architecture enables DC fast charging at speeds up to 350 kW, completing 10 to 80% charge in 22 minutes. Driving dynamics are managed by multi-chamber air suspension with preview road-scanning, combined with rear-wheel steering that pivots up to five degrees to improve maneuverability and high-speed stability.

Configurable in standard 6 or 7 seat layouts, as well as an ultra-luxury 4 seat Executive Suite, the GV90 delivers interior space across a 3,245 mm wheelbase. Legroom and headroom in the first two rows are generous, while the third row accommodates adult passengers comfortably in standard passenger variants. Executive variants replace the third row with a dedicated comfort partition separating the cabin from the rear luggage area, adding an integrated refrigerator and folding tables. Standard models feature power-folding rear seat rows that drop flush to create a flat loading floor, complimented by a frunk for charging cable storage.
